Citrus and Avocado Smoothie

A refreshing and healthy smoothie is a great way to start any day. Add them to your diet or fill a hunger gap at any time of the day. Use any other of your favourite super foods (banana, wheatgrass, pomegranates, blueberries for instance) to maximise on this great Vitamin C booster.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Put the grapefruit juice, avocado flesh and lemon juice into a blender and whiz briefly.
  2. Add the yoghurt and honey and blend until smooth. Check the sweetness and add more honey, or ice cubes if you like a well chilled smoothie.

Orange and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Put the orange and lemon juice into a blender with the peeled and chopped banana, whiz briefly.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to taste and blend until really smooth. Add a very little water if you like a thinner result.
